The "Baby Bottle Drive" is back!
We introduced this program four years ago and our parish family was most receptive and supportive, helping us to raise significant funds for area Pregnancy Resource Centers. We were well pleased with the response and remain most appreciative.
However, the needs that these organizations face continue to persist and it is our intent to do what we can to help them in their wonderful work of being a safe, loving, judgement-free place for women who are in need to seek guidance, care, and support for themselves and their babies. The proceeds of this year's "Baby Bottle Drive" will be distributed among Flint area pregnancy resource centers that we know to be very worthy organizations, driven to protect our most vulnerable.
The program is simple...beginning the weekend of February 1st, Baby Bottles will be available to take from the Baby Bottle bin between the church and the gathering space. Take the bottle home and throughout the month of February, fill it with loose change, cash and/or checks (payable to K of C Swartz Creek Council 6694 / Memo "Baby Bottle Drive"), return it to the church no later than March 1st and drop it into the secured Baby Bottle bin. That's it.
Our council appreciates whatever those participating are able to give in support of this initiative. These organizations are doing God's work and need our support to continue. Please consider contributing. Thank you!
